Ahh! You look like a friendly face. Haven't seen any other dwarves in quite a while. I thought I'd come give you a hand for a day?
As well, I was curious how refining works. Does it remove magical enchantments on items? And if not, how much would it cost to refine my elven crossbow of piercing?
Sorry to ask so many questions. And I hope I can lend you an able helping hand.

Always good to see a fellow Dwarf around these parts. What brings you to Everdeen?
I can always use some help sharpening, thanks for offering.
All these weapons never quite get the balance and sharpness on them until I get my hands on them. I'll take off the pieces that are worthless, re-balance, sharpen, refinish; anything necessary to give the piece it's due and give you a weapon worthy to carry into battle.
That Elven crossbow is a fine piece, it'll take a lot of time to get it just right, I would probably do it for 300-350, sharpen all those blades over there, I'll knock it down to 225.

Well to be honest, I have been travelling quite some time. I recently became a druid and was wandering the countryside, looking at all the trees when I came across this town. I figured i'd resupply when I got swept up in this town's recent troubles.
I'll be happy to do some sharpening but I'll have to decide on the weapon. Afterall I am a simple dwarf.

A Druid aye?
Always a pleasure to meet a fellow brother of the wood. It's been a long time since I've seen a Druid in these parts. The woods in these areas are quite interesting, have you had a chance to commune with the trees, might give you an advantage in the days ahead.
You receive 50 GP and a free sharpening on the weapon of your choice for helping out the blacksmith

Yes, quite the pleasure. I have not had a chance to commune with the trees since the town got into an uproar. Why do you think I might gain an advantage?
So I've been wondering, how did a Druid like yourself end up in a town like this? Maybe something drawing you to the Darkwood Forest? I have to admit, it looks fascinating. And a little sinister...
And thanks for the gold, I'd appreciate it if you could sharpen my crossbow. I'm sure I could use a bit of a boost in the coming days. It smells like a storm is brewing.

I'll get that sharpened right up.
I was initially drawn to the woods surrounding the town, there's a power there that is enticing, but dangerous. Many a soul has lost their way in there, never to return. The wood bleeds power, but most can't see it.
The wood here is specifically interesting, there are stories and lessons that they can teach you unlike any you'll ever hear. Druids come from all over to learn her secrets, and in a tough spot, you want her on your side, not against you.
I'd love to take you to the edge if you're interested, it's been too long since I've last been there.
Commune With the Woods [3 DAYS]?

Specifically interesting you say? Then I can't wait to hear what the woods have to say. I've heard them calling me from a distance, I'm sure that's why I ended up in this town!
I'll follow as soon as you're ready.
